Türkiye's First Professional Female Aerobatic Pilot
Born in 1991, Semin Öztürk Şener is Türkiye's FIRST Professional Female Aerobatic Pilot. Semin performed her first aerobatic flight at the age of 12 with her father, National Aerobatic Pilot Ali İsmet Öztürk. She studied high school at Saint-Michel French High School and went to college to Istanbul University. She received her Private Pilot License (PPL) with the sponsorship of Ayjet Flight School while she was in her second year at the university. Later, she completed her aerobatic flight training at the Tutima Academy of Aviation Safety in California, USA. She made her first solo aerobatic flight at the age of 21 in a Pitts S-2B airplane. Thus, she became the first Turkish Woman Pilot to fly solo with this type of aircraft. Semin Öztürk Şener follows her father's footsteps.
On 19 September 2015, the young aerobatic pilot performed her first airshow at ‘SHG 2015’ organized at Sivrihisar Aviation Center. She also had a role in a television commercial filmed by the Italian chocolate brand Pernigotti with other successful business women in Türkiye.
On 8 March 2016, International Women’s Day, she was invited to a very special reception in The Palace of Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. In that special day, she took her place among women who are in the foreground with their professions. She was again invited to the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye as a guest of Emine Erdoğan as part of Women's Day. In 2016, she completed her private helicopter pilot training course successfully in TUSAŞ Flight School and became Türkiye’s First Civilian Woman Helicopter Pilot.

After receiving MD-500 type rating
In 2017, she appeared on Koç Holding's "10 November" TV commercial with her plane. In the same year, she received her type rating on MD-500 at the Advance Helicopter Pilot School in the UK.
In 2018, she performed at her first international airshow at Aeromania in Romania and Turkish Ambassador Osman Koray Ertaş personally attended to the organization. In the same year, for the centennial celebrations, her photo in the dimensions of 4.3 meter x 5.5 meter was hanged at the wall of Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum located in Denver / Colorado / USA.
In 2020, she performed on Unilever's TV commercials appeared in Arabia, Argentine, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Uruguay, Thailand and Türkiye.
Furthermore, Semin Öztürk Şener flew with unique airplanes such as Boeing Stearman E-75 and Mustang P-51 and improved her flight experience. Even though Semin is very young, she achieved many firsts for the aviation of Türkiye.

In 2022, she performed at İzmir Bay in front of 2 million people who celebrated İzmir's Liberation Day's 100th year. She displayed at SHG Airshow and at İstanbul in front of over hundred thousand people before finishing the season.
At the end of 2022, she took the flag from her father Ali İsmet Öztürk by starting to fly with the "Legendary" Purple Violet, which was designed and manufacture by her father and his team as one of the most advanced aerobatic airplane in the world. Purple Violet went through an extensive maintenance by Mach Technic's dedicated work and its outer apperance completely changed and took the name "New Violet" .
In 2023, she made her first international apperance with "New Violet" at Germany's Flugtage Bautzen.
